"Lovely Villa"
June 2024 Our stay at casa Sagitario was a pleasant stay. A spacious villa equipped with all the comforts of home. There are some areas that are in need of improvement. The the pool area needs to be updated with new sun loungers as they are past their best. The hose pipe needs to be longer this is so you could wash down the patio and pool areas as it gets very dusty and dirty. The home although tidy was not properly cleaned as it was dusty and plenty of cobwebs. (Not when we left). The on-suite shower needs a rubber seal on the door as the water runs out onto the floor. The bidet only had hot water as the cold water tap did not work. (My wife found out when she burned her bum). The cupboard under the kitchen sink had a pool of water in it.
The Table Tennis and pool table are located in the garage in the basement. It was not very inviting down there to be honest and was not used.
The location is a little isolated and you will need a car. Overall I would recommend staying here although improvements are needed. One thing to note is that on a two week stay there is no mid stay clean or towel and bed linen change. Even if linen and towels were left for week two would be fine.

"Casa Sagitario"
August 2022 We enjoyed a lovely two week at Casa Sagitario. The villa is in a great location for exploring with lots of nearby beaches and Portimao and Lagos towns. Our favourite beach was Praia Grande less than 10 minutes drive. In the local village there are some really great restaurants to enjoy dinner out and a useful mini mart. Carvoeiro is super for eating and drinking with lots of choices and has a great atmosphere in the evenings, but it is very small and lacks many streets and shops to wander and enjoy. Slide & Splash water park is only 5 minutes drive and well worth visiting with kids of all ages.

"Fantastic Villa in a Great Location"
July 2022 We had a fantastic stay at Casa Sagitario. When we arrived it was so easy to get the keys and then enter this beautiful villa. On arrival the villa was spotlessly clean as was the pool and pool area. The linen and towels provided were spotlessly clean and great quality.
It was just like a home from home with everything you could need to enjoy your stay. The villa manager Rex was really helpful and came to welcome us and show us how things worked. Nothing was too much trouble for him.
The local supermarket in Lagoa did online shopping delivery meaning we didn’t even need to leave. There is a small supermarket with a good selection within a 10 minute walk so we could get essentials until our shop arrived.
If you don’t feel like cooking there is a good selection of restaurants within a 10-15 minute walk (even a Michelin Star restaurant). We went for pizza at the very friendly and reasonable pizza restaurant on the first night.
Carvoeiro is about a 40 minute walk and approx €6 Uber ride away and is a lovely town with lots of shops, restaurants and bars. We had a couple of good days / nights here however we didn’t need to eat out all the time as the well equipped kitchen allowed us to fend for ourselves really well.
The pool was the main event and we spent a lot of time around this fabulously sized pool. The local hardware store that’s 10 minutes walk away had a fabulous selection of pool floaties that were reasonably priced.
If you are looking for an amazing family holiday I would highly recommend Casa Sagitario.

"Relaxing & Peaceful "
August 2021 A lovely location, clean tidy. The pool area is an absolute sun trap.
Clean bedrooms, beautiful large bed in master with en-suite and balcony.
Clean large kitchen and utility room.
Spacious dining room and sitting room.
But for me it was the outside pool area, where we spent most of the day evening.
A big plus was the close proximity to excellent restaurants, from Michelin star, BONBON to the small ‘Louise’, local restaurant with amazing food and great service. Others - Hexagone- 5 minutes walk, Oregano 10 mins walk !
To be honest I think some of the outside furniture and decking and lighting needs freshened up, but I’m sure that will be dealt with.
Lovely staff kept the Villa, pool and garden area clean.
